Creation of CLP label draft for substances and mixtures

MSDS-Europe – CLP labelling: label draft preparation and label translation

For products placed on the market after 1 June 2015, labelling must be carried out in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), taking into account any other specific requirements applicable to the product.

The supplier of the product has a labelling obligation

  • if the substance or mixture is classified as hazardous in accordance with the CLP Regulation;
  • if it is an explosive article;
  • if it is a non-hazardous mixture containing one or more substances classified as hazardous above the concentrations referred to in Part 2 of Annex II to the CLP Regulation.

Where a labelling obligation applies, we prepare the label draft for the product in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP).
