PCN submission via the submission portal

In accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/542, we submit hazardous mixtures falling under the scope of Annex VIII to the CLP Regulation via the ECHA Submission Portal (cloud-based IUCLID), using the data you provide.

What is PCN?

PCN change notification

Updating a PCN dossier may become necessary in a number of cases.

These include changes to distributor or contact details, adding a new trade name or UFI, or extending a previous notification to additional target countries.

A significant change in mixture composition or a modification of the product classification can also trigger an obligation to update.

PCN submission portal training – Step-by-step practice of PCN notification

Online training, 4 hours

Acquisition of practical skills for the independent use of the PCN submission portal. Adequate theoretical knowledge of Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/542 is required.

PCN Legal Representation – Entering the EU Market with Hazardous Mixtures

Companies with a registered office outside the EU (non-EU-based companies) that wish to place hazardous mixtures on the European market are required to comply with the Poison Centre Notification (PCN) obligation and appoint an EU-based legal representative.

MSDS-Europe provides comprehensive support in this process:

  • Preparation and submission of PCN notifications via the ECHA Submission Portal (IUCLID)
  • Provision of UFI codes for product labelling
  • Acting as your legal representative and contact point for the competent authorities
  • Complete confidentiality and secure handling of all data

We prepare and submit the notifications accurately, request all necessary information from you, and treat all data received during the process with strict confidentiality. We do not disclose any information to third parties, except where disclosure is legally required by the competent authorities or where communication with your clients is mandatory.
